I HATE the thought of wearing flip-flops on the filthy dirty city sidewalks? Any suggestions for comparable light, airy, and casual foot wear on those casual hot summer city days?

We must concur; flip-flops in the city can be really gross. Try a pair of lightweight canvas sneakers. Something like the Van’s or the Converse All Star. They’re affordable, stylish, look good on almost anyone, can be worn without socks, and can be tossed in the washing machine.

The Bowie Blouse

Fall is at our heels, and although we do not want summer to go, there is some excited for revisiting that bowie (not the iconic singer) blouse. Shown in the Japanese Vogue, August issue, Terry Richardson photographs model Freja Beha Erichsen, in a very Jane Fonda pose circa 1960's. The bows are big & the sunglasses are even bigger.

To Man Bag or Not to Man Bag...

It has been a constant battle between masculine, feminine, and functional. I support the use of any bag, as long as it isn't a plastic one. Gucci showed us the man bag done right at the June 2010 show. Keep it tough. Keep it rough. Keep it on a strap or a handle, because there is nothing stylish about a man clutch!
