Lost and Found

The new owners of David Webb have unveiled thousands, actually tens of thousands, of  jewelry sketches found in David Webb's personal archives.  Most of the sketches  found were never produced before the death of the famed jewelry designer in 1975.  Webb was best known for his  iconic, bold colored, animal themed, enamel jewelry and his art deco style that remains modern to this day.

Movie stars like Ava Gardner and Lana Turner wore their David Webb jewelry  on and off the big screen while style icons like Princess Grace of Monaco and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis were loyal customers. Elizabeth Taylor featured 4 pages of David Webb jewelry in  "My Love Affair with Jewelry" the photo book of her legendary jewelry collection.

The company will be creating new pieces based on the found sketches. If you are going to purchase one start saving now.  The price tag for the emerald, enamel and coral cuff shown above is a mere $95,000.00.  There is a bonus,  besides a beautiful piece of wearable art each new piece will be accompanied by a copy of it's original sketch.
